The four House Finch nestlings, now fully feathered, continue to explore the sconce ledge, a natural step before their first flight. Today, the adults were present in 1725 frames, with 16 frames showing both parents.

The female fed the young several times, including visits at 06:11, 06:47, and 06:48. House Finch young typically fledge between 11 and 19 days post-hatch, with the most common window being days 12–15, meaning this brood’s fledging period runs from June 28 to July 6.

With capture coverage ending at 16:04 PT, the nest was quiet for a bit after the last recorded activity. The nestlings are nearing the end of their time in the nest, having hatched between June 17 and 18.
