Day 13 — Incubation Day Four Begins

Today marks Day 4 of incubation for the House Finch nest. The female was a low-contrast tucked shape at the nest as evening settled in, with activity noted as late as 23:59.
The female took a 25-minute break from the cup, departing at 20:28 and returning at 20:53. A feeding visit was observed at 17:09.
Compared to yesterday, overall activity around the nest was lower, with a decrease of 124 frames showing birds present. The male was not captured visiting the nest today, a change from yesterday’s single recorded visit.
