Day 14
Day 14 — Four chicks confirmed, possibly five
Hatch + 1. Female on the cup overnight without leaving. First clean cup-view at 07:48 PT showed two chicks. By 11:14 the camera caught one chick beside one remaining egg. By 16:51 the cleanest count of the day, with the cup region cropped and CLAHE-enhanced from the Tapo close-up: at least four pinkish chick-bodies piled together, possibly five. The Gemini classifier capped at three (it backs off on piles), but the in-person look at 17:50 confirmed four-or-five. The male transitioned cleanly from courtship feeding to provisioning — 11 visits across the day, 26 clips with both adults at the cup, chicks gaping in 25 clips.
